My adventure journey began with a summer job in the USA after graduating from high school.
Back in Germany, my heart's desire to study singing matured during my subsequent two year training as a bank clerk. Thanks to a scholarship I was able to study singing in the USA and during the four years of my bachelor's degree there I got to know a way of life that was completely new to me. In Freiburg, in the south of Germany, I then deepened my studies in opera, lied and vocal pedagogy.
During my studies I realized how important the body is as an instrument for the voice.
In order to gain a deeper understanding of the connections between body, mind and soul, I then completed a training as a biodynamic craniosacral therapist. What fascinates me with this kind of work is how blockages can be resolved through this gentle body therapy, how one can breathe more freely again and how more life energy is available. Old patterns that no longer fit into current life are let go to make room for something new.
I share my enthusiasm for learning with my voice students as well as the values of togetherness, interpersonal relationships, communication and authentic expression.
Since 2017 I live in Hamburg, Germany, with my husband and our two children.
